ECO-FRIENDLY ROACH CONTROL IN GENEVA

Pest Arrest is one of the only companies in the industry that extensively tests new products, and consistently implements only the most effective products and methods available. In fact, the majority of our pesticides are certified low-risk by the Environmental Protection Agency, and though we have a higher cost than other companies, it is worth it. We have one of the lowest incidences of call-backs in the industry, and our customers consistently rave about how their pest problems are gone within days. We are often the third or fourth company that our customers use, however we are usually the last. As a local family-owned company, Pest Arrest is almost always able to have a technician out within 24 hours, and we are open 7 days a week, so you don’t have to wait until Monday. If you have a mouse in your house on Saturday, or if it is Sunday and you discover a wasp nest right before your BBQ, we’ll be there.

How we get rid of roaches

Though many pest problems can be resolved with DIY methods, roaches are not an issue you want to tackle by yourself. Cockroach infestations can quickly spiral out of control, and the infestation will usually keep getting worse unless it is stopped. To complicate matters, most available DIY treatments act as a band-aid by killing or repelling individual roaches, and will not eliminate the population. At Pest Arrest we utilize the safest and least harmful eco-friendly products available for Pest Control experts to use. Our treatments work slowly but are far more effective than methods utilized by most pest control operators. Rather than spraying pyrethroids, our roach treatment is a non-repellent that the roaches cannot detect. The roaches will continue to go about their business, and over a period of several weeks the entire population is infected and begins to slowly die off as the treatment takes effect. The infestation is fully cleared out in about 6-8 weeks, and requires only one application. This is in contrast to the pyrethroid products used by our competitors that repel and quickly kill the roaches. Though this sounds good in theory, in practice pyrethroid treatments result in roaches returning and typically require as many as 6-12 applications to bring a population under control. Roaches are very adaptive creatures, and many develop a tolerance to pyrethroids over time, further prolonging how long it takes to get rid of the infestation. Pest Arrest's cockroach service is unique in that it almost always only requires one treatment, and roaches are unable to adapt to and build tolerance due to the unique biological mechanism of the active ingredients. In most cases a 50% reduction in population is seen after 2 weeks, 95% at the 4 week mark, and 100% 6-8 weeks after the treatment is applied. We do not use bombs, toxic chemicals, or gases, and in most cases the residents do not have to vacate their homes during the service. The treatment may leave a visible white residue on some floors: we recommend waiting until the roach infestation is gone before mopping it up. Our roach treatments are incredibly effective and are backed by our free re-service guarantee. If you are seeing roaches, the sooner you stop it the better, and with Pest Arrest, you can rest assured that the roaches will be eliminated.

When should I call an exterminator for roaches?

In contrast to most common pest issues, roaches multiply and spread quickly, and often don't respond well to DIY treaments. We recommend calling a professional service as soon as there are signs of roaches. Cockroaches are an especially hardy species of insect, and are difficult to get rid of using home remedies. We offer free assessments, and can typically do the treatment on the spot without the need to schedule a service at a later date. All of our technicians are trained in Integrated-Pest-Management, and we utilize the safest and least harmful eco-friendly pest control products available for companies to use. After we apply our treatment, we see a reduction rate of 95% after 4 weeks, with full effectiveness after 6-8 weeks. Although it is slow acting, our product is the best on the market, and the most effective in getting rid of cockroach populations. As the best pest control company for cockroach problems, we have seen it all. We have removed cockroach infestations in homes, businesses, and condos, of every level of infestation, from a few to a whole-house full. If you see roaches in your home or business, we are here to help!
