The adult house mouse is small, slender and about 1-2 inches long, not counting the tail. The house mouse has large ears, pointed nose and small eyes.
The fur color varies, but it is usually a light grey or brown but could be darker shades.
Check for droppings (rod shaped, pointed ends and are about 1/8 – 1/4″ long) where food is stored (pantry & kitchen cabinets), beneath sinks, inside chewed cardboard boxes and along baseboards.
Be on the lookout for gnaw marks. Mice can cause serious damage by chewing through plastic, pipes and wiring.
Mice build their nests in secluded dark areas using shredded paper products, cotton, insulation and fabrics.

Due to their nocturnal nature, mice are rarely seen by the homeowner.
Mice reproduce several times within a year giving birth to scores of offspring. Don’t delay. If you think you have a rodent infestation, contact a licensed pest control exterminator to inspect the home.
